Day 01: Arrival in Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco! Welcome to Casablanca, the commercial city of Morocco and the largest modern city in Morocco. Once you arrive at the Mohammed V International Airport you will be greeted by us and accompanied to your hotel in the center of the city. Depending on the time of your arrival, we’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque. The 7th largest in the world, and is also one of the only three mosques in Morocco that non-Muslims can enter.

Day 02: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen

On your second day, we will drive the short distance up the coast to the current Moroccan capital: Rabat. As the home of the Moroccan government, as well as a densely populated and active Medina (old city), Rabat is a perfect mixture of old and new.

We will take a walking tour through the Medina, and enjoy a delicious cup of tea overlooking the Atlantic coast. After, we will see three well-known monuments: The Tower of Hassan, an unfinished minaret and mosque from the 12th century, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, grandfather of the present king and the Oudaias Kasbah, the 12th-century kasbah in Rabat. The oldest kasbah in Rabat once served as a base for the Moroccan armies leaving to conquer Andalusia led by the Almohades dynasty, in particular Sultans Abdelmoumen and Yacoub El Mansour. Day 03: Exploring Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen is famous for its buildings washed in bright shades of blue – this is undeniably one of the world’s prettiest cities. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate hopping out of bed early to take photos of empty picturesque streets. Explore the city on your own heading to Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the city’s main square, which is named for the hammams that once encircled it. Then tour the old kasbah and its eerie prison cells, used during Spanish rule.

In the afternoon, you may like to take the opportunity to snap some more pictures of the city’s blue-hued buildings, or simply take a roundtrip to Akchour waterfalls. Where you can enjoy the rest of your day, hiking or relaxing in a natural pool. If you’re a nature enthusiast, then the sight of Akchour waterfalls will take your breath away.

Day 04: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes

Meet your driver and head south toward Fes. Along the way, stop and stretch your legs to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis. A UNESCO-protected site, founded in the 3rd century BCE, it remains incredibly well-preserved. Next, stop and explore Meknes. A smaller version of Fes, Meknes offers a calmer medina and shopkeepers are not as pushy to make a sale. While Meknes is quite large, the two main areas of interest are the Ville Impériale (Imperial City) and the manageable medina. Be sure to check out the massive gate: Bab al-Mansour and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.

Carry on eastward to Fes. Before venturing into the medina, take the time to drive up the hill to the ruins of the Marinid Tombs for an all-encompassing view of the medieval city. The best time to visit the tombs is around dusk. The muezzin’s calls to worship can be heard through the valley as the city lights begin to glow on, adding to the atmosphere. Return to your traditional riad for a warm meal and settle in for the evening.

Day 05: Exploring Fes

Fes is the oldest city in Morocco, famous for its old medina known locally as Fes El Bali. Fes is home to the most beautiful sights that Morocco has to offer. The oldest leather tanneries in the world, watch how priceless rugs are hand-made on traditional looms, and walk through an active pottery factory as the craftsmen show you each step they take to create intricate mosaic artwork.

Well, set off with a local guide who is familiar with this ancient city to explore its magic. Walking through its charming alleyways and small streets. Stop by the Blue Gate known as Bab Boujloud. Within a few steps from there, we will get to the religious school, the old Jewish quarter, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the oldest university in the world. Afterward, drive to the new medina and stop by the Royal Palace for some pictures. After making sure you visit every interesting site in the medina, we’ll drive you back to your hotel.

Day 06: Fes - Ifrane - Atlas Mountains - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

Start your day bright and early traveling south toward the Sahara desert. Along the way, we’ll stop in the village of Ifrane, a beautiful mountains village, referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco, and drive through the Cedar Forests of the Middle Atlas mountains. Enjoy sightings of the local Barbary macaque monkeys before stopping for lunch in Midelt, and relishing the nearby Jbel Ayachi. Continue over the Tizi n’Talremt pass and into the Ziz Valley, known for its hidden oases and palm tree clusters. Along the road, you will see many fortified houses known as ksars—built to protect precious wares, including gold, salt, and spices.

Continue onto Erfoud, known for its date festival and fossil mining. Here you can visit a local collective to learn more about the process and meet some local artisans. Arrive at Erg-Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, an extensive sea of sand dunes covering the area and surrounded by hamadas. Never stationary, the massive dunes shift and travel depending on the changing wind! here you can experience ancient transportation(camel trekking) switch gears and ride your camel through the dunes to your equipped luxury camp. Climb a nearby sand dune to watch the sunset before returning to camp for a delicious dinner, relaxing by the campfire.

Day 07: Exploring Merzouga area & Ramlia

Today you will experience everything that the Sahara has to offer. On an exuberant four-wheel drive tour of the desert and surrounding areas, Learn more about the Gnaoua culture, music, and food that is unique to this part of the world. Explore mines filled with fossils found in this ancient place, and know the lifestyle of the desert nomads.

Your Sahara desert experience has not finished yet, since you have not explored the picturesque oases of Ouzina and spent the night in the village of Ramlia. In the afternoon, we will Set off on an adventure to explore the desert oases passing through the mud-brick villages. Afterward, we will take you to your Auberge in the heart of M’harech oases near Ramlia village. Overnight in M’harech oases, typical dinner followed by live Berber music.

Day 08: Ramliya - M'harech - Alnif - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorge

After a good night in the middle of nowhere, we will get started on our desert tour to Todra Gorge on an adventure of a lifetime driving on the route of Dakar Rally to the south of Morocco – Dades Gorge. Appreciate the black landscapes and the hospitality of nomads in this unique area. Your camera won’t get much rest today as every turn reveals new sights on the fabled road.

Stop in Tinghir town for lunch, which is famous for its Grand Canyons. Stretch your legs for a walk under the red cliff of Todra Gorge. A massive trench that rises over 300 meters (984 feet) to form one of the most dramatic and spectacular natural sights in Morocco. Upon reaching Boumalne Dades in the afternoon, drive along Dades Valley toward Dades Gorges. Marvel at the Rock formation known as ‶Monkey paws″, and catch the sunset behind the mountains. Appreciate the fabulous view overlooking the Dades Gorge in Tisdrine famous for its sneaky or zigzag road before driving you to your hotel beside the valley.

Day 09: Dades Gorge - Kalaat M'gouna - Ouarzazate

Since Ouarzazate is not that far away from Dades Gorge, Our journey today won’t be very long. Drive along the Road of Thousand Kasbahs toward Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazate Hollywood of Africa. Stop in Kalaat M’Gouna known as the town of roses. Visit locals at their cooperative to see the process of converting rose petals into rose water and oil. Purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over.

From there, continue to Ouarzazate. On our way, we’ll stop in Skoura town, which is full of destroyed and abandoned kasbahs. Visit the Kasbah Ameridil, a well-preserved kasbah in the oasis of Skoura. Originally built in the 17th century, is one of Morocco’s most iconic living museums.

After having lunch in Ouarzazate, you’ll realize why geography and beautiful landscapes have attracted many world-class movie producers in this area. Visit Kasbah Taourirt, built in the 17th century by the Imzwarn, a powerful local family and expanded by the Glaoui family in the 19th century. Later tour the Atlas Studios that have lured many Hollywood film crews, acting as the backdrop to scenes from Game of Thrones, The Mummy, Prison Break, and Gladiator. Join a studio tour to explore inside and know more before checking into your accommodation.

Day 10: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

After breakfast at your hotel, we’ll travel to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains. However, we’ll visit the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, which was once a major stop along the caravan route between Marrakech and SaharaAit Ben Haddou Kasbah was declared as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1987 and is a famous location for numerous films such as Game Of Thrones, Lawrence Of Arabia, and many more.

Leave Ait Ben Haddou behind to begin the ascent over the High Atlas Mountains. following the winding road to the Tizi n’Tichka pass 2260 meters (7417 ft) and stop to appreciate the panoramic view. Lunch in a Berber village and tour the local Argan Oil Cooperative and discover how the local women extract the precious oil from the argan nut to make oil used in the health, food, and cosmetic industries. Arrive at your hotel in the afternoon, maybe stretch your legs around the Jemaa El-Fna Square or relax at your hotel.

Day 11: Exploring Marrakech

After enjoying a relaxing breakfast at your hotel, meet your local guide for a full-day tour, starting with the vibrant souk of the medina and the live Jemaa El-Fna square famous for its snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, as the inside is for Muslims only. But its famous minaret is a sight to behold.

Next, visit the 19th century Bahia Palace and El Badi Palace ‶Palace of Wander or Brilliance″. Relax in the adjoining gardens, before carrying on to Ben Youssef Madrasa. Built-in the 16th century, this madrasa once housed students of the nearby mosque. Admire the Moroccan artisanship: carved cedar, stucco plaster, and zellij tiling. The hard-to-miss Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrasa, and Museum of Moroccan Arts for more examples of traditional art and woodwork.

The prices of our tours depend on the packages you select(Splurge, Mid-range, or Don’t break the bank accommodations), the number of travelers on your journey, and the season of your travel.

Although most of the planning and preparation is taken care of for you, there are still a few things you should know and some details you should take care of to ensure your comfort, safety and peace of mind. Please review the following information before your departure to ensure that any surprises along the way will only be pleasant ones.

  • During the booking process please let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies.

  • Since lunches are not included, your guide will suggest restaurants where the food is tasty and fresh in order not to get sick. However, if you have a particular restaurant in mind. Inform your guide to accommodate your choices. On the other hand, based on his experiences, he will be glad to assist you whether their service and meals are marvelous.

  • Alternatively, your driver will make frequent stops along the way, especially in breathtaking places. This tour is flexible, if you recognize a worthy place to stop in, feel free to ask your gently driver.

  • Respect tour departures times to avoid delay and loss of sightseeing opportunities. If necessary, let your guide and driver know.
