Welcome to Morocco! Welcome to Casablanca, the commercial city of Morocco and largest modern city in Morocco. Upon your arrive at the Mohammed V International Airport you will be greeted and picked up by Morocco Vacation Travel representative. From Casablanca to Rabat, we’ll visit the Hassan II Mosque. The 7rd largest temple in the world, and is also one of the only three mosques in Morocco that non-Muslims can enter. Day 02: Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Fes

Embark on a journey toward Fes known locally as Fes El-Bali, famous for its UNESCO world heritage Medina that’s full of charming cul-de-sac streets. However, first we’ll tour the current Moroccan capital: Rabat. As the home of the Moroccan government, as well as a densely populated and active Medina (old city), Rabat is a perfect mixture of old and new.

Start with a tour through the Medina, and enjoy a delicious cup of tea overlooking the Atlantic coast. After, we will see three well-known monuments: The Tower of Hassan, an unfinished minaret and mosque from the 12th century, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, grandfather of the present king and the Oudaias Kasbah, the 12th century kasbah in Rabat. The oldest kasbah in Rabat, once it served as a base for the Moroccan armies leaving to conquer Andalusia led by the Almohades dynasty, in particular Sultans Abdelmoumen and Yacoub El Mansour.

Afterward, drive to your accommodation in Fes passing through the imperial city of Meknes. Meknes is slower and less populated than the other imperial cities, and is a perfect place to wind down from our active day in Fes. After lunch, start an explorative journey of the Ismailia capital of Morocco, you will see the fascinating gate Bab Mansour built by the sultan Moulay Ismail, the granary and the Sahrij Souani used for irrigation and plantation.

Leave Meknes behind and continue to Fes. Along the way, we will stop in the roman ruins of volubilis on the outskirt of Meknes. Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once a provincial Roman capital, a distant outpost of the empire, the remains make an undeniably impressive sight. Check-in to your hotel in Fes in the late afternoon.

Day 03: Exploring Fes

Fes is the oldest city in Morocco, famous for its old medina known locally as Fes El-Bali. Fes is home to the most beautiful sights that Morocco has to offer. The oldest leather tanneries in the world, watch how priceless rugs are hand-made on traditional looms, and walk through an active pottery factory as the craftsmen show you each step they take to create intricate mosaic artwork.

After a delicious breakfast, meet your local guide who is familiar with this ancient city to explore its magic. Walking through its charming alleyways and small streets. Stop by the Blue Gate known as Bab Boujloud. Within a few steps from there, we will get to the religious school, the old Jewish quarter, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the oldest university in the world. Afterward, drive to the new medina and stop by the Royal Palace for some pictures. Your guide will ensure that you visit all the must-see sites before accompanying you back to your hotel.

Day 04: Fes - Ifrane - Atlas Mountains - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

Start your day bright and early traveling south toward the Sahara desert. Along the way, we’ll stop in the village of Ifrane, a beautiful mountains village, referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco, and drive through the Cedar Forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Enjoy sightings of the local Barbary macaque monkeys before stopping for lunch in Midelt, and relishing the nearby Jbel Ayachi. Continue over the Tizi n’Talremt pass and into the Ziz Valley, known for its hidden oases and palm tree clusters. Along the road, you will see many fortified houses known as ksars—built to protect precious wares, including gold, salt, and spices.

Continue onto Erfoud, known for its date festival and fossil mining. Here you can visit a local collective to learn more about the process and meet some local artisans. Arrive at Erg-Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, an extensive sea of sand dunes covering the area and surrounded by hamadas. Never stationary, the massive dunes shift and travel depending on the changing wind! The locals believe that these dunes were sent as a punishment for turning away a weary traveler from the desert. They say that after they sent away this traveler, the gods made the dunes pile up right outside their town; to teach them a lesson and to never send away weary men and women ever again. Check into your hotel, dinner will be served in a typical restaurant and followed by live music.

Day 05: Exploring Merzouga area

Today you will experience everything that the Sahara has to offer. On an exuberant four-wheel drive tour of the desert and surrounding areas, Learn more about the Gnaoua culture, music, and food that is unique to this part of the world. Explore mines filled with fossils found in this ancient place, and know the lifestyle of the desert nomads.

In the afternoon, as the sun cools, embark on a camel ride crossing the orange-sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi to your glamping in the middle of nowhere. climb a nearby sand dunes to watch the sunset before returning to camp for a yummy dinner beside the fire, relaxing under the stars.

The camel rides are really romantic activities to explore and enjoy the Sahara desert. But if you’d prefer, it’s simply possible to do another activity instead with few extra fees, or to be driven to and from the camp. Please let us know.

Day 06: Merzouga - Rissani - Todra Gorge - Dades Gorge

Wake early for the last walk in the Sahara desert to catch the desert sunrise, Meet your driver and travel toward Dades Gorge through the rural villages and Todra Gorge. Your camera won’t get much rest today! This region of Morocco is home to dramatic slots of canyons, picturesque river valleys, and towering mountains. Prepare for an indrawn breath of awe as every turn reveals new sights in the spectacular Todra Gorge. The first stop after the Sahara desert will be in Rissani. A market town, Rissani holds a livestock auction and is home to a “donkey parking lot”, a site worth (hearing) about and experience! From there, drive through umbrella-shaped trees of the acacia forests to Alnif.

Stop in Tinghir town for lunch, which is famous for its grand canyons. Stretch your legs for a walk under the red cliff of Todra Gorge. A massive trench that rises over 300 meters (984 feet) to form one of the most dramatic and spectacular natural sights in Morocco. Upon reaching Boumalne Dades in the afternoon, drive along Dades Valley toward Dades Gorges. Marvel at the Rock formation known as ‶Monkey paws″, and catch the sunset behind the mountains. Appreciate the fabulous view overlooking the Dades Gorge in Tisdrine famous for its sneaky or zigzag road before driving you to your hotel beside the valley.

Day 07:Dades Gorge - Kalaat M'gouna - Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Travel along the Road of Thousand Kasbahs to Morocco’s most famous kasbah, Ait Ben Haddou. Pass through the Dades Valley and Rose Valley. Stop in Kalaat M’Gouna known as the town of roses. Attend locals at their cooperative to see the process of converting rose petals into rose water and oil. Purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over.

Continue to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa where you may join a movie studio tour and visit the Musée du Cinema to learn more about the filmmaking process and history of the area. From there, drive short to reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. A UNESCO World Heritage site and the oldest Kasbah in Morocco where many films were filmed like, Game Of Thrones, Gladiator, Laurence Arabia, and more.

After lunch at the Kasbah Leave Ait Ben Haddou behind to begin the ascent over the High Atlas Mountains. following the winding road to the Tizi n’Tichka pass and stop to appreciate the panoramic view. Before our arrival to Marrakech, we’ll stop in a Berber village and tour the local Argan Oil Cooperative and discover how the local women extract the precious oil from the argan nut to make oil used in the health, food, and cosmetic industries.

Day 08: Exploring Marrakech

After enjoying a relaxing breakfast at your hotel, meet your local guide for a full-day tour, starting with the vibrant souk of the medina and the live Jemaa El-Fna square famous for its snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, as the inside is for Muslims only. But its famous minaret is a sight to behold.

Next, visit the 19th century Bahia Palace and El Badi Palace ‶Palace of Wander or Brilliance″. Relax in the adjoining gardens, before carrying on to Ben Youssef Madrasa. Built-in the 16th century, this madrasa once housed students of the nearby mosque. Admire the Moroccan artisanship: carved cedar, stucco plaster, and zellij tiling. The hard-to-miss Saadian Tombs, Ben Youssef Madrasa, and Museum of Moroccan Arts for more examples of traditional art and woodwork.

In the afternoon, we’ll take you to visit The Majorelle Gardens and Menara Gardens thus, Your guide will ensure that you see the most important places of historical and cultural interest. Day 10: Marrakech - Chichaoua - Ounagha - Essaouira

Your trip begins after a late breakfast in your accommodation in Marrakech. Leave Marrakech traveling to the coastal city of Essaouira. The name Essaouira means image, Which is appropriate for the picturesque town. Where scenes from the third season of Game of Thrones were filmed. Along the way, we will have a chance to visit the women’s cooperative enterprise of argan oil. Where the natural cosmetic was being made. Also, it’s a delicious product for food. 

Continuing on the road which is surrounded by argan trees. If you’re lucky, you may see goats in the trees grazing on the argan fruit, a sight seen when grass pasture is limited or unavailable. Day 11: Essaouira - Safi - El Jadida - Casablanca

Today you’ll have a full morning to wander and explore the picturesque town of Essaouira. Essaouira is a port city and resort on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Its medina (old town) is protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts called the Skala de la Kasbah, which were designed by European engineers. Old brass cannons line the walls, and there are ocean views. 

After lunch, enjoy a private transfer to Casablanca passing by Safi and El Jadida. Morocco’s Atlantic coast cities were once controlled by the Portuguese in the past. We may stop in Safi city, where the National Museum of Ceramics and the 16th-century Ksar El Bahr were built by Portuguese colonizers. Arrive at your hotel in Casablanca in the late afternoon.

The prices of our tours depend on the packages you select(Splurge, Mid-range, or Don’t break the bank accommodations), the number of travelers on your journey, and the season of your travel.

* All prices are in Euro, US Dollars, Pounds, or Moroccan Dirhams, per person. There is additional 10% fee for tours including the dates between Dec.20 – Jan.5(Peak Season). For single rooms, a single supplement fee will be applied.

Although most of the planning and preparation is taken care of for you, there are still a few things you should know and some details you should take care of to ensure your comfort, safety and peace of mind. Please review the following information before your departure to ensure that any surprises along the way will only be pleasant ones.

  • During the booking process please let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies.

  • Since lunches are not included, your guide will suggest restaurants where the food is tasty and fresh in order not to get sick. However, if you have a particular restaurant in mind. Inform your guide to accommodate your choices. On the other hand, based on his experiences, he will be glad to assist you whether their service and meals are marvelous.

  • Alternatively, your driver will make frequent stops along the way, especially in breathtaking places. This tour is flexible, if you recognize a worthy place to stop in, feel free to ask your gently driver.

  • Respect tour departures times to avoid delay and loss of sightseeing opportunities. If necessary, let your guide and driver know.
