Day 01: Arrival in Fes

Welcome to Fes! you’ll be welcomed by a Morocco Vacation Travel representative and transferred to your hotel in the medina of Fes. Nicknamed the “Athens of Africa” for its UNESCO World Heritage Medina, which is home to holy shrines, religious schools, the old Jewish quarter and Synagogue, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the oldest continuously functioning university in the world. Well, if you arrive with time to spare you will have a chance to visit the ancient medina of Fes known locally as Fes El Bali, which is considered one of the most extensive and best-conserved historic towns of the Arab-Muslim world.

Day 02: Fes Sightseeing tour with local guide

After breaking your fast, your guide is going to take you to visit Fes Medina. The Medina of Fes contains some beautiful sights that Morocco has to offer. You will walk through the narrow alleyways of the medina to visit the oldest leather tanneries in the world, watch how priceless rugs are hand-made on traditional looms, and walk through an active pottery factory as the craftsmen show you each step they take to create intricate mosaic artwork. In addition to that, Fes is home to holy shrines, religious schools, the old Jewish quarter and Synagogue, and the University of Al Quaraouiyine, which is the oldest continuously functioning university in the world. Day 03: Fes - Taza - Oujda

Meet your driver and head north toward Oujda. Oujda is a city in northeast Morocco, near the Algerian border. It’s known for its Great Grand Mosque, built in the late 13th century, with intricately carved wood and mosaic tiling. after an hour of driving, we’ll reach Taza, which is famous for its Tazekka National Park the Grain Market, and the Souks in the old medina where wickerwork, tapestries, jewelry, and other goods are sold.

Continue our grand tour toward Oujda, upon our arrival we’ll get to know what this city is worth. since Oujda is often destroyed and rebuilt, we’ll get started by touring its colorful souks where you can do shopping while getting to know about the culture of Morocco. There is a variety of quality and prices. The sellers there are very friendly and warm. Next, visit the Fazouane Park, a meeting place for locals in Oujda and where you can get to know more about locals. then, end your day of this grand tour in Isly Golf and Piscine enjoying the breathtaking view over the Medina of Oujda. Day 04: Oujda sightseeing tour - Saidia

Today, since our next destination is not far away from Oujda, we’ll take a gentle walk through the medina of Oujda again, to visit the rest of what this city has to offer before we leave for Saidia city. The “blue pearl of Morocco”, is a beach town in northeastern Morocco, its 14 km “9 miles” coastline is one of the longest beaches of Morocco and is characterized by its golden sand and Mediterranean climate, making it a popular international tourist destination. Prior to transferring you to the hotel for check-in, we’ll visit Saidia Kasbah – a historical landmark.

Day 05: Saidia sightseeing tour

Good morning! After a late breakfast, you’ll be guided to visit the top attractions in Saidia: Plage de Saidia, Alpamare Saidia, Marina Saidia, and much more. in the afternoon, head to the beach for a walk and enjoy the rest of your day chatting with locals and it’s simply possible to join them for beach activities.

Day 06: Saidia - Nador - Al hoceima

From Nador to Tetouan, we drive along the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea passing by Nador. Nador is the 19th largest city in Morocco and was founded in the 19th century by local Berber tribes and was under Spanish occupation from 1912 until Morocco’s independence in 1956. Nador contains the cleanest and best beaches in Morocco, such as Casablanca, Charrana, and Bocana Beach. Upon arrival, visit the Royal Palace, The bridge of love, and Tzadik Rabbi Saadia Edaty – a religious Site. Later on continued our grand tour traveling along the corniche to Al Hoceima city with several stops on the way. 

Get to Al Hoceima city in the afternoon. Al Hoceima City is cited as among the cleanest and safest Moroccan cities. It is characterized by its shining sandy beaches like Cala Iris, Bades, Torres, Quemado, and Tala Youssef, and its mountainous rocky areas. After checking into your hotel get out for a sightseeing tour with your guide to visit one of the most impressive sites in Al Hoceima – D’al Mazamma and hang out on one of those best beaches.

Day 07: Al hociema - El jebha - Tetouan

From Al Hociema to Tetouan, Tetouan or Tettawen known locally as ‶Paloma de Marruecos in Spanish″, locals in this region speak Spanish after their mother tongue language. Tetouan is a city in northern Morocco. It lies along the Martil Valley and is one of the two major ports of Morocco on the Mediterranean Sea, a few miles south of the Strait of Gibraltar, and about 60 kilometers east of Tangier.

Upon arrival, we’ll visit the medina of Tetouan, which contains colorful mosques and old kasbahs. The medina is surrounded by a historic wall of approximately 5 km in length and accessed by means of seven gates. Next, visit Dar El Oddi then Feddan Park or Feddan Square, which used to be what’s currently known as Place Hassan II, but it was destroyed following the Spanish protectorate to make room for the Royal Palace. Check into your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 08: Tetouan sightseeing tour

Today you will explore more the medina of Tetouan and the surrounding area. Pay a visit to the Archaeological Museum and Bab Okla Gate in order to visit The Ethnographic Museum which has a marvelous collection of Muslim furniture, costumes, and jewelry. It is beautifully presented in the vast rooms of a fabulously restored palace which gives a real feel for the 18th century rulers’ lives. Afterward, drive to Martil to visit its outstanding beaches. The name Martil comes from the Spanish name of Río Martín at the time of the Spanish protectorate of Northern Morocco. Free to wander on your own before heading back to our hotel.

Day 09: Tetouan - Tangier sightseeing tour

Today we’ll drive the short distance west toward the northern tip of Morocco and the cultural hub of Tangier. Arrive in Tangier after one hour and a half. Strategically situated on the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier serves as a gateway between Africa and Europe, making it a key trading port over the centuries.

Meet your local guide and explore historic Tangier. Stroll around the kasbah, a fortress area that offers sweeping views of the Strait of Gibraltar. Wander through its snaking markets lined with market stalls and ornate architecture. You can also venture out of the city to visit Cap Spartel, a striking lighthouse that marks the spot where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea.

Next continue south along the coast to the legendary Cave of Hercules, rumored to have been created by the mythical hero himself. Explore the limestone caverns, thought to be where Hercules rested during his 12 labors, and peer out through the Africa-shaped opening to the Atlantic. After a full day of exploring Tangier return to your hotel or hang out in a café to enjoy the sunset over the point where the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea meet.

Day 10: Tangier - Chefchaouen

This morning say goodbye to Tangier referred to as the ‶Bride of Morocco″ and travel south to Chefchaouen known as the ‶Blue Pearl of Morocco″ for its maze-like medina filled with blue-washed buildings. Set beneath the raw peaks of the Rif Mountains, the city’s name translates to “two horns,” a reference to the twin peaks that shadow the metropolis. After checking into your hotel in the morning, wander the city on your own exploring the Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the city’s main square, which is named for the hammams that once encircled it. Then tour the old kasbah and its eerie prison cells, used during Spanish rule. As the sun cools, climb to one of the Spanish mosques to enjoy the sun setting down over the Blue-washed buildings of Chefchaouen.

Day 11: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

Rise early today for one last walk around the blue-hued streets of Chefchaouen before embarking upon the journey toward the oldest city of Morocco. On the way, stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, Ramble through the streets of this once-grand settlement, which dates back to the 3rd century and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll learn about the site’s history as an Amazigh (Berber) city and its significance in establishing the first dynasty of the Kingdom of Morocco as you pass wealthy residential houses, temples, and public buildings with intricate mosaic floors.

From there, continue south to the imperial city of Meknes. home to palaces, the impressive gate of Bab al-Mansour, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Royal Stables. After lunch, your local guide will show you around before driving to our last destination. Overnight in Fes.

The prices of our tours depend on the packages you select(Splurge, Mid-range, or Don’t break the bank accommodations), the number of travelers on your journey, and the season of your travel.

* All prices are in Euro, US Dollars, Pounds, or Moroccan Dirhams, per person. There is an additional 10% fee for tours including the dates between Dec.20 – Jan.5(Peak Season). For single rooms, a single supplement fee will be applied.

Although most of the planning and preparation is taken care of for you, there are still a few things you should know and some details you should take care of to ensure your comfort, safety and peace of mind. Please review the following information before your departure to ensure that any surprises along the way will only be pleasant ones.

  • During the booking process please let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies.

  • Since lunches are not included, your guide will suggest restaurants where the food is tasty and fresh in order not to get sick. However, if you have a particular restaurant in mind. Inform your guide to accommodate your choices. On the other hand, based on his experiences, he will be glad to assist you whether their service and meals are marvelous.

  • Alternatively, your driver will make frequent stops along the way, especially in breathtaking places. This tour is flexible, if you recognize a worthy place to stop in, feel free to ask your gently driver.

  • Respect tour departures times to avoid delay and loss of sightseeing opportunities. If necessary, let your guide and driver know.

    For the benefit of all tour participants, we ask tour members to be considerate of their fellow travelers in the following ways:

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) or “drone” technology has quickly become affordable and is increasingly popular with recreational users.   • Ramadan may make your trip excruciating, due to most of the restaurants and shops would be closed. And alcohol beverages will not be served in restaurants and hard to find.
  • Our guides are fluent in languages, and they are happy to share all what they have known so far, if you’d like skip or add an activity to your daily itinerary feel free to ask your guide.
  • Children under 5 years old are free of charge. 6 – 8 (- 70 %). 10 years old is considered to as an adult.
