Day 01: Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ait Ben Haddou - Kalaat M'gouna - Dades Gorge
Your 3-Day Marrakech Desert Tour begins right away after breaking your fast at your hotel in Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas Mountains. While the drive to our next destination is long, the journey is not one you’ll want to close your eyes on. With frequent stops and exquisite views around every corner, this drive is one of the shortest to the Sahara desert and the loveliest in Morocco.
After following the winding road to the Tizi n’Tichka pass, get to the fertile village of Ait Ben Haddou in the afternoon – Famous for its old dramatic kasbah in Morocco. Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage in 1987. Additionally, it’s a great location for numerous films including Lawrence of Arabia, GOT, gladiator, and more.
From there, continue east, traveling through the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs”, many in disrepair as they’re constructed of pisé mud (rammed earth). As you head toward Dades Gorge, you will pass many small towns where you can see traditional farming methods in use. Be on the lookout for nomads tending to their animals as you make your way through fragrant Kalaat M’gouna, the “Valley of the Roses”. You’ll eventually arrive in Dades Gorge. Check into your hotel overlooking the Rose Valley.

Day 02: Dades Gorge - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga
From Dades Gorge to Sahara desert, through the rural villages and Todra Gorge. Your camera won’t get much rest today! This region of Morocco is home to dramatic slot canyons, picturesque river valleys, and towering mountains. Prepare for an indrawn breath of awe as every turn reveals new sights in the spectacular Todra Gorge. take a gentle walk under the red cliff of Toudra Gorge. A massive trench that rises over 300 meters to form one of the most dramatic and spectacular natural sights in Morocco. Many people come to enjoy their preferred sport here.
After a traditional feast in a local restaurant on the way, reach Merzouga in the afternoon. Hop on your camel and cross the sand dunes toward your feature stay accommodation with an experienced camel for approximately 1 hour with a break on a high dune to enjoy the sunset that might be the best sunset ever in your life. Get to the camp, enjoy the nomad hospitality and a traditional feast under the sky jeweled with millions of stars. Followed by live local music around an open fire.

Day 03: Merzouga - Draa Valley - Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
Today is the last day of the 3-day Marrakech desert tour. We recommend you wake up for sunrise, as it’s different from sunset. After breaking your fast at the camp, you’ll camel trek back to the village of Merzouga and hit the road back to Marrakech.
Our journey today will be in a different way once we depart from the Sahara desert to Dades Gorge. Passing through Rissani and continuing toward Alnif town through the road surrounded by Acacia trees referred to as the ‶Savana Road″. After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains one more toward Marrakech city. We’ll drop you off at your preferred location and where our 3 days Marrakech desert trip ends.

For the bookings of our tours, we kindly request a small deposit of 20% of the total price to be sent to our bank account, PayPal or Wise account. The balance is to be paid to your driver/guide at the meeting.

During the booking process please let us know if you have any food restrictions or allergies.
Since lunches are not included, your guide will suggest restaurants where the food is tasty and fresh in order not to get sick. However, if you have a particular restaurant in mind. Inform your guide to accommodate your choices. On the other hand, based on his experiences, he will be glad to assist you whether their service and meals are marvelous.
Alternatively, your driver will make frequent stops along the way, especially in breathtaking places. This tour is flexible, if you recognize a worthy place to stop in, feel free to ask your gently driver.
